Finley, WA historic buildings

Key: Building is still standing. Building has been torn down.

Finley Church / school house (1909) Located next to the new church

In the early years of Finley, this building served as both a school house and a church.

Finley School (1923)

This building appears to have been used as a high school until 1933, when high school students started going to River View (formerly Hanford) High School following the consolidation of the Finley and Hover school districts. After 1933, the building was used for elementary students. In 1957, a new elementary school was built, and this building again became a high school and was renamed River View High School (to carry on the tradition of the abandoned high school in Hover).

In 1979, this building was torn down to make room for a new River View High School.
