Today marks my last day in maintaining and updating the EBCHS web site. I am off to the town of Cape Girardeau in Missouri to pursue my degree in Historic Preservation at Southeast Missouri State University. I would like to thank everyone for their kind help that allowed this site to grow and take shape, becoming what it is today. Paul and Joyce Sharold will be taking over the maintenance and upkeep of this site.

The following new buildings have been added to the Kennewick buildings architecture section:

The Bateman building (1949)
The Charles H. Collins Co. building (c.1910)
Spike Ferrell's Livery Stable (c.1910)
Red & White Grocery building (1937)
E. C. Smith's Ford Garage (c.1950)

Also modern-day photographs of the following buildings have been posted:

Bestes Tire Store (c.1915)
Kennewick Transfer Company building (c.1910)

Information on the Columbia Pharmacy building (1904) has been updated.

The Beste's Tire Shop building (c. 1915) has been added to the Kennewick buildings architecture section.

Added detailed history of the Stag building.

The following errors were corrected:

• AH Richards house was built in 1906, not 1907, according to the Kennewick Courier, June 8, 1906.
• First National Bank was built in 1908. (Kennewick Reporter, 1908.)
• The Courier building was not a print shop, as previously indicated, but rather a newspaper.

• H. M. Ashbaugh and Co. moved into the Reed building Dec. 1st 1906. (Kennewick Courier, Nov 2, 1906.)
• F.A. Swingle, architect, had his office in the King building in 1908 (Kennwick Reporter, Feb 14, 1908.)
• Brown building was occupied by Hotel Koontz, Lynch's Department Store and the Library in March 23, 1910. (Twin City Reporter, March 23, 1910.
• Residence lots in the Kennewick Highlands originally cost $100.00. A "new cottage and two lots" was advertised for $1400.00. (Kennewick Reporter, January 30, 1908.)
• In 1908, F. M. Crosby, M.D. had his practice in the Reed Building, treating "diseases of women and children." (Kennewick Reporter, Feb 14, 1908).
• Updated the information on the Neuman's Market Building to reflect that the original facade has been restored.

• Updated (modern) pictures of the CE Williams building and Neuman's Market building to reflect facade changes that have taken place.
• 1950s and modern pictures (with the metal facade recently removed) of the building the Music Machine is currently housed in (205 W. Kennewick).
• 1950s photograph of the Cox building.
