Benton County Historical Society
May 1999 Home
Tour
Welcome to our 1999 Historic Home Tour.
It has been ten years since our last home tour and the popularity
and success of the first two home tours have prompted us to plan
yet a third.
This tour serves a dual purpose. It helps us fulfill the
Society's mission of preserving the history of our area and
sharing it with the public and it also serves as a fund raiser
for other programs provided by the Historical Society throughout
the year.
Volunteers are the cornerstone of the East Benton County
Historical Society and in 1982, after the hard and dedicated work
of many of the communities finest, the doors of the East Benton
County Historical Museum were opened. Much of the work done by
the Society is performed by people just like you, who enjoy
learning and sharing information about our past. This home tour
is no exception. We would like to thank all that have worked to
make this third Historic Home Tour possible.
We invite you to join us in our enjoyment and enthusiasm of
saving and sharing the past by becoming a member of the East
Benton County Historical Society. Household dues for a calendar
year, January through December are $15.00. Please send your name,
address and phone number, along with your membership donation to:
